A charity plant sale, Wandsworth Council election results, a FREE festival of music, local offers, Mega Skip Day, and much more!
Local resident and 5-time Chelsea Flower Show award-winner Anthony de Grey has opened his beautiful garden for a charity plant sale at his home at 54 Abbotswood Road, SW16 1AW (by Tooting Common, just off Bedford Hill) today and tomorrow (Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May) from 9am–5pm!
Brighten up your garden with a selection of unusual, interesting and useful plants, all while supporting a fantastic cause!
Funds raised will go to Brain Research UK, a charity very close to Anthony’s heart as it helps fund research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Anthony witnessed his father’s deterioration through MND until his early death at just 61, and his greatest wish is that no-one should have to endure the suffering his father faced, or witness the pain his family experienced.
Anthony has already raised an incredible £38,453 through his charity plant sales so far, and we’re wishing him every success again this year!
