Raye puts Balham on the musical map!
Raye, the Tooting-born singer-songwriter, has put a local street in the spotlight with her newest single, Nightingale Lane, even inspiring a commemorative plaque at the Nightingale Pub!
The song opens with the heartfelt lines: “This is a song about the greatest heartbreak I have ever known / This song is called Nightingale Lane / On a street in the South London suburbs / Where my first love kissed me goodbye.”
The single was released on Friday 27th February, putting Nightingale Lane firmly on the musical map!
